Involved in infrastructure as well as real estate, the company manages both private and publicly traded funds across opportunistic, value-add and core strategies, and is also involved in major development projects. CIM also has a credit platform which manages around $10.5bn of investments through bridge loans, mortgages, redevelopment and repositioning loans, as well as construction loans. Its European activity has so far been relatively minimal, although it bought business and video game production hub Cathedral Square in Guildford for £61.5m in 2021.
